motorcycle accident that left me unable to work for 1 year. My credit is not very good. I need a way to make this happen! Most of the major student loan companies have turned me down. Essentially, I owe the university 2000, which must be paid before I can register. I need another 10k (on top of what I can earn) to get through the school year. Any ideas? Thanks!

Work your buns off until you’ve paid the school back, and then save up school fees before the next semester. Keep working during that semester, and saving money for the last semester. I’m assuming you’ve already tried for a pell grant? It might take you awhile, but you’ll get there. A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step. Get steppin’!
5 weeks is quite a tight schedule to apply for grants and scholarships. But you could always give it a try. At your current financial state, the last thing you want is to have to get even more loans. Hence, grants and scholarships your ideal options.
